Welcome to the homepage of Henry Dietzgen and Mahimmar Afghans, breeder of fine afghans during the period 1965-1982 and after a hiatus back at it in 1998 with the import from France of now American Champion Oom Pa-Pa Chahcheran and subsequently his sire Inditu Chahcheran.

I was co-publisher of Afghans International 1967-1971 along artist and publisher Michael Allen. I was also partnered with Norman Austin and Frances Greer in the founding of the magazines Toys International and The Flushing Spaniel. I have also contributed articles to Our Afghans and Afghan Hound Australasia.

I am also a proud member of the Afghan Hound Club of America and mentor through its "Giving Back" program.
